Meet The Doctors
Marc Malon, DC
Dr. Malon is a native of Biddeford and is a graduate of the University of Maine (Zoology/pre-med). He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo. and entered private practice in Biddeford, in November 1981. Dr. Malon was recently re-appointed to the Logan University Board of Trustees (see photo above).
He is a former president of the Maine Chiropractic Association and chairman of the Chiropractic Study Group of the Maine Medical Assessment Foundation.
He is a previous Maine Chiropractor of the Year and is a Fellow of the American Back Society and the International College of Chiropractors.
Dr. Malon specializes in spinal manipulation and manual therapies including instrumented soft tissue myofascial release techniques (Graston) and incorporates exercise therapy and lifestyle modifications. He has a special interest in integrative, multi-disciplinary approaches to acute and chronic non-surgical spine conditions.
Dr. Malon resides in his hometown of Biddeford, Maine and has served on numerous charitable boards and organizations. He currently serves on the board of St. Andre’s Home, Inc. operated by the Good Shepherd Sisters helping women and mothers in need.
Debbi-Jo Harvey, P.T
Debbi-Jo Harvey, P.T. is from Mars Hill in northern Maine. She graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 1989.
Physical therapy is an integral part of the treatment of any muscle or joint disorder to aid in reduction of inflammation, muscle tension and pain thereby improving mobility and increasing function. Treatment methods include exercise therapy, muscle/soft tissue release techniques, postural training and modalities.
Debbi-Jo has specialized experience and unparalleled training in the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. She also works with patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal diagnoses. She is responsible for the initial evaluation of each of her patients and will develop a specific treatment protocol based on the individual and the particular problem in collaboration with the patient’s primary care physician.
She joined our Biddeford practice in 2004 and lives in Scarborough with her husband and three sons.
